A little bit more about me.....
Gillian lives in New York City working as an actor and writer. Being brought up in the Berkshires led Gillian to be immeresed in the arts and hunger for New York City. Acting in at least twenty plays before high school graduation, Gillian developed a major case of the acting bug. A passion for Shakespeare led her to Shakespeare & Company's educational and training programs. When the time came she shipped off to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. There she was able to study with the Atlantic Theater Acting School for three years and minored in Art History. Since graduation, Gillian has been working steadily in independent films, off-off broadway and regional theater. Gillian is a non-union actor and is currently seeking commercial and legit representation.
What others say about me ...
"Their chosen wives are played by Gillian Hurst and Jennie Burkhard Jadow. Jadow’s gypsy girl is appropriately sultry for a blonde and Hurst makes Hyacinth into the least "precious" girl of her type. " -Peter Bergman (2007)
"I have to say that Hurst, Jadw, and Harrison kept me laughing, even though this is very much a male dominated show... Hurst is a chipper little bird in her pink “female cummerbund” and little straw hat...The endless mangling of the names Hyacinth and Zerbinetta always caught me off guard, even when it shouldn’t have, and made me smile. " - Gail M Burns (2007)
"Gillian is the greatest actress in this play and in the world." Denis Veazie, Eight year old critic. (2009)
