        • Set in 1981 during the IRA Troubles in Northern Ireland, 'Women of Armagh' shows the female component of the prison strikes that started in the Men's prison to protest the removal of POW special status and the brutal criminal treatment of the British prison authorities. This play paints a picture of the dirty protest in Armagh Women's Prison.Come learn about the protest that the republican movement chose to ignore and the Northern Irish Women's Rights Movement refused to support.
